Copper Basin Railroad

President: L.S. "Jake" Jacobson
One of the most interesting short-line railroads in the United States. It operates for 54 miles along the Gila River from the Ray Mine in Ray Junction to Winkleman Arizona where the copper ore is processed. I had the opportunity to photograph there for a few days. Jake posed for this portrait in one of his tunnels along the route.
